Grayscale’s LINK fund premium has exceeded 700%, the highest premium in history

The price of Chainlink Trust owned by Grayscale Investments is at the highest premium ever.

Chainlink Trust shares (just over 0.92 LINK tokens per share) have a market price of $170.99. 

That’s a premium of more than 700% compared to LINK’s price of $20.54 on cryptocurrency exchanges.

Chainlink Trust holds $8.4 million worth of LINK and charges an annual management fee of 2.50%.

It is reported that Chainlink Trust was launched in May 2022 and has historically traded at a higher price than LINK tokens. 

Institutional investors are generally unable to hold cryptocurrencies directly due to regulatory restrictions, but they can purchase products such as Chainlink Trust to gain exposure to cryptoassets other than Bitcoin.
