Grass announced on X the first ever Layer 2 Data Rollup.
The plan is to create a system that allows developers to verify the origin of training data, thereby solving data provenance issues.Â
On this permanent ledger, users can see the data on which the AI ​​model was trained and confirm that there are no biases.
This Layer 2 solution will allow each time data is scraped, metadata to be recorded to verify the data source, which will be permanently embedded into each data set, allowing builders to have confidence in the origin of the data.
In order to cope with the scale that will reach tens of millions of web page requests per minute, Grass will extend its protocol through Layer 2 and use the ZK processor for data verification to provide persistent provenance clues for all output data sets.
