The Blast-based web3 game platform Munchables said on X that the platform was attacked at 12:37 pm East Africa Time.
Cryptocurrency sleuth ZachXBT discovered the attacker’s address, showing it contained nearly 17,411 ETH worth $62.5 million.
Munchables said: “We are tracking the movement and attempting to prevent the transaction. We will update as soon as we know more information.”
The breach constitutes one of the largest losses of 2024 so far.
