Shiba Inu will launch a new privacy-centric network on top of the Shibarium blockchain. Shiba Inu is developing the yet-to-be-named network in partnership with open-source cryptography company Zama. The exact mechanism is called fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), a privacy tool that lets developers use data on untrusted domains without having to decrypt it.
Shiba developers say the move will improve on-chain privacy for SHIB token holders and help protect their personal and transaction data.
Additionally, the Shiba Inu Ecosystem Token (TREAT) will power a “new privacy layer.
